Swinging into our Q&A this week is a very special golfing talent. At just 6 years old, his talent knows no bounds. Having secured a win on the British Junior Golf Tour, Brody incredibly secured 6 wins on the Robert Rock Junior Golf Tour, enough to secure the 2020 Tour Championship. His success has earned him the trip of a lifetime to San Diego, to compete in the IMG World Golf Championships.
We spoke with Mum Gemma and Brody to learn about Brody’s love of golf, experiencing success and how he feels about competing on the World stage.
Tell us about yourself!
Hi my name is Brody and I am 6 years old. I live in the North of Scotland. I love playing golf and walking my new puppy Texas.
What’s your first golfing memory?
Hitting my plastic clubs round the garden when I was 3 years old.
What’s the best thing about golf?!
Travelling all over the country playing different courses. I have met so many friends in my first year.
Who is your golfing inspiration/favourite player?
I have a couple. My dad and my favourite tour players are DJ and Robert MacIntyre.
What’s the best shot you’ve ever played?
My first hole in one.
At 6 years old, you’ve managed to achieve so much. How does it feel to have won so many tournaments already?
It makes me very happy and excited for this year.
You’ve qualified for the IMG World Championships. How excited are you about this and what are you most looking forward to?
I am super excited and I cant wait to get out and play in my shorts and tshirt in the sunshine. Hopefully I will bring the trophy home to Scotland.

What is the best part of your game?
Driving
What areas are you working hard to develop?
My short game, around the greens and my putting.
What are your golfing ambitions?
My ultimate ambition is to become the best golfer in the world. This year I have a busy schedule competing in the British Junior Golf Tour, European Junior Golf Tour, Robert Rock Junior Golf Tour, IMG World Championship and the Champion of Champions in Ireland. I am going to try my best and hopefully bring home some more trophies this year.
